Bent Polishing Instructions

Note: You polish all surfaces on the bent except for the letters.

Basic Instructions

1. Use a flat file to remove most of the rough castings on the surface.
2. Follow with a middle grade sandpaper to finish removing any rough castings left.
3. Continue sanding with a fine grade sandpaper.
4. Finish the bent with a liquid metal polish.

High Quality Instructions

1. File all flat surfaces with a bastard edge file until level.
2. File the round Toroid with a rat file until level.
3. Sand the bent with the following dry grade sandpapers in order: 80, 120, 220, 320.
4. Sand the bent with the following wet grade sandpapers in order: 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 1800, 2000
5. Finish with liquid metal polish.
